Here to help everyone distinguish between the two machines of Keurig K-Duo and K-Duo Essentials.
The gastrointestinal tracts of these two models are similar. The Keurig's K-Duo model is 5100, and the model of K-Duo Essentials is 5000. The two machines also look very similar and can both use drip coffee and capsule coffee. The positions of the control buttons of the two machines are not quite the same, as shown by the red circle in the figure.
The height of their cups is also different. The cup of K-Duo 5100 is thinner and taller, while the diameter of K-Duo Essentials is larger and shorter in height. Please see the comparison in the following figure.
So once the cup of your machine is broken and needs to be replaced, please carefully check the model of your machine, which is at the bottom of the machine. Or you can measure your machine according to the instructions in the following figure.
